Exhibit A

My gardening gloves have actually been used! I spent a couple of hours clearing a patch on some wasteland that I'm going to grow vegetables on. At least until someone notices and complains. There are a few of us doing it so I won't be alone when the time comes.

Jen's shift at work turned out to be much longer than expected but due to extra effort she's got 2 more days holiday at the other end, taking it up to a whole week off.
