Band Rotunda
Timaru Botanical Gardens.
Yesterday I saw this woodland area with a carpet of gold - the sun was shining. Today, when I drove through it was drizzling and the yellow flowers had mainly closed up. I still took some photos but not overly successful. I'll return over the coming days if the sun shines. I thought they were buttercups, but on closer inspection they’re not.
I've put another two in extra to show the flowers - I don't know what they are. I will tag this for flower Friday, but it’s not really how I envisaged it.
I was out all morning at our craft morning, this afternoon I did the judging and comments of the prints. I'll run through them again over the weekend just to confirm my thoughts.
Lots of spring snow upcountry and around Queenstown and Central Otago....winter has not quite left us yet. Here we only reached a miserly 7 deg.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
