Pyracantha

I went outside in the garden yesterday afternoon to take my photo, but no sooner than I put my head out of the door than it started raining. Not just ordinary rain, but huge great blobs of rain. I retreated indoors as the thunder started. I never did take my photo.
So today I captured the pyracantha in the sunshine. It is a huge plant growing close to the house and it has a thick trunk . When we first moved here there was a blackbird’s nest high up in the branches. Since then we have had cats, so no blackbirds.
