Always Keep Your Sunny Side Up

That's what my Mother used to say
not always an easy thing to achieve
you can catch more flies with honey
than you can with vinegar, she would say
but today I had to fire one lawyer and
begin at square one with another
there are things that need doing, both
personally and with our business and
time is marching on with no results so far
the six week mark passed without any communication
from the first lawyer so on to the new lawyer
I paused at the end of the hectic day to admire
the flowers in my daughter's garden
they were keeping their sunny side up too
