Low tide
This morning E and I walked down to the track to the ferry across to Helford Passage where we met an old friend who lives in the hamlet. She drove us to the Budock Vean for a light lunch outside in the garden - deliciously fresh mushroom soup. After walking down the steep path through tree ferns and blue hydrangea we reached the beach of the hotel where the tide was out, then we visited the new walled garden at Trebah before going back to Helford Passage and the ferry. By chance E discovered that her late husband was related to the ferryman!
Extra: low tide at Helford from the pub below where we were staying.
