My trip two days ago finally caught up with me today.  I've felt pretty exhausted.  Consequently I stayed near to home for my walk - and yes, decided I liked this shot best of those I brought back, not for technical reasons but largely because of the colour.

The other thing I did this morning was to write some words for the Wildlife Trust and email them off.

And that's about it.

Forgive me if my comments are a touch on the scanty side tonight.  I'll do my best, but realise it may not be good enough ;(
