The Lake District

Currently in Keswick in the Lake District for a couple days. 

Came down this morning and believe me, we should have trusted our own map reading skills instead of the sat nav. Ended up going though every Borders town inc. Galashiels, Selkirk, Hawick, Langholm etc. which may have been pretty, but not a quick as going directly via the A702.

Anyway, we got here and the town is so pretty, especially as it sits on Derwentwater. As well as a walk round the lake we have booked tickets to see ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’ at the Theatre on the Lake tomorrow.

Just realised that this is a blipday … 14 years without missing a day. Thank you to all you wonderful Blippers, who check in on my daily goings on. My life wouldn’t be the same without Blip, it has made me see the world and what’s around me in a different way.
