Mind the trams and buses

It was a bus first at 7am, £2 from my bit of Rochdale to Bury, then a Tram to Manchester on an all-day travel card, £7.

So less than a tenner, no parking needed, no stress and in Manchester City Centre in 50 mins, before 8am.

Can't do that in a car.

Meanwhile car MOTed, and 2 new tyres. £560.

Mike who I take my cars to has a theory that cars will go full circle, the electric car won't replace the petrol, no car will replace a car. They will be the preserve of the rich.

Let's face it most of the time they are unused and costing us plenty, then we can't get anywhere in them when we need to.
