Grandson activity

During the school vacation recently I was talked into assisting my grandson Cooper, to make a potato launcher. When he described the details which he had found on "U Tube" I was rather skeptical about whether it would work as he hoped. However he convinced me that it would be something he could make so we set about obtaining the necessary items. Upon completion it surprised me just how efficient it was in launching potatoes over a long distance. I quickly realized just how lethal this "weapon" could be so it became necessary for me to confiscate the item much to his great disappointment. His grandmother seen in the background, chided me severely for even contemplating the production of the launcher but we still talk occasionally.
