I popped up to the Atrium this morning with a few cards – I’m still not into batch production mode yet, this was a modest number, but I hope to be gearing up soon because there were quite a few empty spaces in my area of the card stand.
I snapped this shot of the menu board with my phone because I loved the flowers decorating the edge of the board. The reason the board is hanging on a brick-type pillar is that the Atrium café was built across a car park to join up our church (built 1874) with its Arts & Crafts church hall, so this is the exterior north wall of the church. On the other side of the Atrium the wall is red brick, being the exterior wall of the church hall! The whole space is filled with light and very welcoming. (The end of the Vicarage garden next door was requisitioned to replace the car parking spaces lost when the site was developed.)
