A day in the life

Getting to Denmark was the main purpose of this Friday. The whole trip is 400 km long and takes around five hours including a couple of stops. One of my stops was here, the viewpoint over the bridge between Sweden and Denmark. This is from the Swedish side. The bridge itself is 15,9 km long, devided in two parts, the high bridge and the tunnel. There is also a railway, connecting the two countries, running along the side of the bridge and tunnel.

When I was a child and we were visiting my grandparents in Denmark, we took the ferry over Öresund, it took about 90 minutes across + at least half an hour waiting time in the harbour. Today I do the trip in less than 20 minutes. Is it progress or is it just quicker?
