Bus Challenge No 222

The River Avon, nr Saltford

A late running bus, and then roadworks, meant that it took an hour to reach my BC friend’s house on the outskirts of Bath, a journey that should only take 10mins. So setting off on our walk along the River Avon to Saltford much later than planned, meant that we didn’t have time for our planned pub lunch, and instead only had time for a quick drink and piece of cake, before catching the bus home. In extras, scenes from my riverside walk. Don’t worry, I wasn’t pouring away my drink, it was the only way to fit it in the collage!

A chilly start to a beautiful day, reaching 14 degrees but in the sun felt much warmer. Things didn’t go quite to plan (as usual), and I was only out for a couple of hours, but it did me the world of good.
