"Sittin"

This afternoon a dear friend came over and sat on the front porch of our Tol Barret B&B and visited with me for a couple of hours. She brought her 12 year old daughter and two of her daughter's friends. The three of them ran our year old hound to exhaustion while Kathleen and I ate Key Lime Pie and sipped Iced Tea. This was our view as we sat on the porch.

It was a great respite for both of us and all too rare in these days when so few people have time for just "sittin" with a friend.

My friend brought us a luscious quiche, plus potatoes, a special salad and long-stemmed red roses for my sick Mom. A true friend!
