Hope this will live longer
Teba is good in brakings things. (She is also good in a number of positive things, but that's not the topic today.)
After her own phone (back in May) was ruined by the battery, Teba got D.'s "old" smartphone, as she got a new one. Well, it took just ten days and then the glass was broken. It could have been used by more careful people, and it being a backup for D., we decided to buy Teba a new one. An outdoor smartphone, that should be able to deal with water, dust, falls, you name it.
It arrived yesterday and I initialised most of the apps Teba uses and copied as much data from the old one as possible. Of course many data was not copied, not all apps were installed (some couldn't even be installed on this 2024 device), well, it took several hours and there is still work to do.
At least her photos are all in the cloud, 2024 at Google, the years before at Amazon and OneDrive.
And now we will see how long this device will live in her hands (and being banged and watered and dropped).
