Synchronised Dripping

Athough I set out to pick brambles on Wednesday I could not resist the plump elderberries I came upon, albeit on just one tree.

Here in the jelly bags, on the left are brambles only, on the right brambles and elderberries in a 1:1 ratio, all cooked and dripping to make two different flavours of jelly.

They were not quite finished (cannot waste a single drop of juice) so will make them up tomorrow - but after the Midlothian Doors Open visits.
