Border crossing

A day trip across the border to meet a long standing friend for lunch. Her chemotherapy starts on Monday - the day we were due to meet - so I made the trip today to catch up and wish her all the very best.

It was a beautiful morning, despite the cold start, and the view from Carter Bar on the A68 was wonderful. We had a delicious lunch. Despite the pig theme I had steak! We plan a return visit all going well.
