Soggy pastries

Not.  They still were a bit crispy and very welcome.

Marion came early, armed with post swim pastries.
We tried a different spot which had some merits but would, due to soft mud, likely be better with a higher tide.

We sat and enjoyed nature before and after our swim.  It was so peaceful.  Sunlight catching the wings of the birds overhead made them practically sparkle.  

So lovely.
