Reminiscing

Had breakfast with the weans and chatted to them and Mt whilst throwing a ball incessantly for Higgs to chase and retrieve, before they left for school (extras).
Gathered my things together and set off again, further south to the New Forest, once again listening to the ‘Missing, Presumed’ book and continuing to be engaged by it. A straightforward drive and I arrived at G&K’s on time where they were not long back from collecting G&S from the airport. From the minute I arrived we swung straight into chat about families, health, good books to read, house renovations (or lack of) and garden crops,, but mainly into recalling stuff from university days oh so many years ago. We kept that up through lunch, a walk around the fields and lanes, some tea and then right through dinner (delicious roast fillet of beef followed by apple and blackberry crumble), but we ended up having a very early night! Fun to be with them all again but shocking to realise just how long ago we all met!
