Cruelty Of Nature

Feathers scattered on the ground indicate the demise of a pigeon, probably attacked by one of the several raptors that patrol the local area.

These particular feathers are located at Roseberry, the cottage to the south of us.

I was also shocked to discover the rather multilateral body of a badger lying at the side of the road. The poor creature had obviously been struck by a rather large vehicle.

The cruelty of man?  

I did photograph the badger for a record shot.

Pat is feeling much improved today.
