Hercules na Mathan

We went to see a play this evening about Hercules the bear who escaped in Benbecula in 1980. He was here filming an advert with wrestler Andy Robbins and didn’t return from a swim on the east coast of the island. On the loose for about 20 days before he was found, very hungry, and returned to Andy.

The play was excellent and all the kids (and adults!) had a great time seeing the story recreated with costumes and props.
