Scorcher

A day off today so Mr R & I dragged the Barmy Army up Dumyat...there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth but as always once they settle into it they enjoy it.

It was hot work today but there was also a good wee breeze blowing that helped with the heat. The Fangler was hard work on the way up...my rucksack is on my front because I carried him a fair wee bit:-/ I'm putting this down to the heat as he's walked this before and he's also done Schielhallion! Anyway, he was in much better fettle on the way down and did walk all of that.

In other news Cosmo the missing cat returned home this morning. The Rooster and I spotted him last night in the area I thought he was in...we gave him a call but he ignored us...but he just waltzed back in this morning. Perhaps we jogged his memory about us. He looks in good condition so I suspect someone has been giving them a piece at their door. Good to have both the boys home:-)
