Darwin sunrise
The view from our apartment on the 16th floor of the Oaks Hotel in Darwin, taken about 6.30am.
This morning we went to the oil storage tunnels constructed in WW2 for the safe storage of fuel. Unfortunately they were fraught with problems of leakage and flooding so were hardly used.
This afternoon we visited the Crocodylus Cove where we saw captive saltwater crocodiles in huge tanks of water, as well as displays of other endemic reptiles.
Posting late as WiFi difficulties.
