Never seen previously

The day started quite sunny but breezy. We took a ferry over to Bellagio for lunch. On boarding we were the only two people on the top deck. This is a sight we had never seen before.

We had lunch at the Hotel du Lac. I think every village on the lake has at least one Hotel du Lac. We got a table at the front reasonably sheltered from the wind.

On the return journey we joined a long and quite orderly queue for the ferry. As soon as we stared to board the queue was aabandoned and there was a stampede for the gangway. Despite the protests of the ferry personnel. I have never seen anything like that before either. There was obviously a fear of being left behind and of having to wait an hour for the next ferry.
