Despite using Milngavie station regularly for the past few months, today was the first time I noticed this floral display, now possibly past its best, on one of the (two) platforms.

Late morning I met pal Liz for lunch* and a blether. Other pal Nancy is away visiting her daughter in Brighton. I got home just before the weather deteriorated, so have been reading the paper and doing the crossword this afternoon.

Now looking forward to the new series of Strictly. Let the shenanigans begin!
