Last Game of the Summer
My golf society arranged its final game today at Walsall Golf Club. While it's in town, it does provide a green area between the town centre and the M6 motorway. Apparently, as evidenced by the photograph it isn't only golfers that enjoy the area. This fox was unfortunately limping, caused by what looks like a rear paw injury. He was still fairly brazen, walking behind us as we putted out on the 8th green.
There are no prizes for the best rounds. We play for nominated charities, with the winner of each individual game, plus the overall highest aggregate score from the best four rounds, sharing the money we collect. I was fortunate to win the first game of the season, but was really surprised to also be the overall winner this year. Prostate Cancer UK will be benefitting.
