Cotoneaster

Lazy day, finishing the book which I posted about yesterday. An excellent read, and done in very good time ready for the meeting to discuss it.

A friend called to arrange coming to look at my new windows tomorrow, which will help her to decide which style to choose for her own home (they’re using the same double-glazing firm that did mine). I bumped into another friend during a quick top-up sprint to the local Tesco. This afternoon I continued my purge of the thousands of photos using up too much storage on my phone (not enough space to update the latest software!) - this is proving to be a major undertaking.

Still procrastinating about the disposal of wardrobe and drawer contents which I also wrote about yesterday - I’m not feeling emotionally strong enough at the moment to handle the sadness of it. With the days shortening and the temperatures dropping, I can feel the annual blues arriving with the end of summer. If the profusion of colourful berries on the cotoneaster in the front garden is anything to go by, we are in for a cold winter.
