My ball....

A lovely sunny Saturday, and a trip to Surrey today to see my brother and his family.  My nephew will be heading off to University next weekend so we wanted to see him before he leaves so had a lovely day with the family - and doggo enjoyed extra attention and ballgame playing time!!  

We also took a walk with them round RAF Kenley which is very close, as they had opened up 2 of their air raid shelters for an Open House weekend, to share the history and amazing stories of the heroics of all involved in WWII, and it was fascinating to see inside - almost unimaginable as to how busy these RAF bases were at the time of war and good that the stories and history are being kept alive by places like these.
