Afternoon Stroll

Brancaster beach late this afternoon. The tide was receding and the sunshine warm. A steady breeze was blowing but unlike this morning when it was quite chilly, it was beautifully warm. Merlin had a run and enjoyed paddling in the water. The beach was scattered with other walkers and families playing in the sand. To the east we could see a small harbour town and a few sailing boats were at sea.

This morning we visited Burnham Market, a busy market town, and bought some fresh crab for lunch. Then we went along the coast to Burnham Ovary Staithe and Wells. There’s also been time to relax in our cottage - Andy watching the golf and myself reading.
