Side project

Another busy shift today but I did squeeze in a couple of breaks, during the second one tripping over a picture of a tree snapped a week ago and falling headfirst into yet another rabbithole.

This Giant Sequoia sized network of tunnels lead therein to a cavernous website telling this UK planted Gal everything she needed to know, including the locations of some such trees in my locality and so once clocking out time arrived at 7pm, off she trundled to an easily accessible one in the last of the daylight.

It's nestled in the centre of a small Yew Tree Maze and whilst the Giant Sequoia is by now towering above the maze, it must still be very young and doesn't yet stand out too much from a distance and give it's game away (extra). When skipping through to the maze to the base.of it's trunk though there is no doubt as to what it is with it's thick spongy bark.

There are allegedly several Dawn Sequoias in the vicinity of this one too so I shall have to return at some point to hunt them down :-)
