Happy Birthday!

It's that time of year again ... lots of family birthdays.
M's turn yesterday. I made these 'Maple Walnut' cupcakes for him. He doesn't really have a sweet tooth so a bit of imagination goes a long way.
The cupcakes are actually little meatloaves with the 'icing' made of mashed potatoes. The 'maple walnut' crumbs on top are actually crispy bacon crumbs.
He loved them but said the icing looked so real, his brain was confused because all he could smell was bacon ;-D
