BEAUTIFUL-APRICOT ODORI

ODORI: It's one of the two types of Japanese traditional dance.
Odori originated in the Edo period, being Mai, the second type of traditional Japanese dance, originated in the western part of Japan.

Odori grew out of Kabuki drama and is more oriented toward male sentiments.
Mai is traditionally performed in Japanese rooms instead of on the stage. It was influenced by the Noh Drama.

In Kyoto there are five HANAMACHI, (literary flower street), 'Geisha town', being GION KOBU, (where BEAUTIFUL-APRICOT is form), dance style the only HANAMACHI that is based in Noh Drama.
