Clubhouse Construction and Golf

The USGA Junior Amateur tournament is in our neighborhood this week. We walked part of the Oakland Hills CC South Course this afternoon as the last two groups finished play.  This is a shot of the clubhouse under construction as the players were walking up to the 18th green.  The match play format of the tournament means that there are not a lot of groups to follow as the tourney moves on.  The final day will be 36 holes and only two players.  I enjoyed seeing the course renovations and getting a closer look at the construction.
