A fine pair

I just missed the flight from the pond surround into the water but the two mallards were keen to get to the other side where someone had a bag of seeds to scatter.

Planted some bulbs this afternoon. I need to cover the compost with old wire baking trays to keep the squirrels from digging up the bulbs.
