Saltcoats
Today was likely the last day of summer, and as it has been a bit dissapointing it seemed wise to go out and enjoy it! We decided on a trip to the beach and went to check out Saltcoats as that was one of the Ayrshire towns we hadn't yet explored. We grabbed a quick roll from the community cafe on the dunes, got the sandals on and had a stroll. There were a load of cormorants on the headland and we had a paddle to get to some of the sand bars on the beach. Whilst walkng towards the town I got a migraine which was a bit rubbish, so once my eyes cleared we wandered into town to get a cold drink before heading home. I really love having the sea so close and none of the beaches are ever busy.
