Overnight

It’s a long drive to the channel tunnel from the Dordogne . The conundrum is whether to keep going to Calais or to have a break. I choose the latter but wonder whether I should do the former.

Abbeville is a small town with northern French brickwork and a splendid cathedral. I might get a few minutes in the morning for a quick explore.
