Cloudy Windscreen?

We returned from Madeira and landed at Birmingham Airport.  As we waited for our lift, this brand new BMW was parked nearby. I assume it had been parked under a tree from the amount of bird droppings on its bonnet and windscreen.  Not an attractive sight and not good for the paintwork.
