No More Apples

We arrived back in a damp Blackburn yesterday evening after sunset but before it was dark.  We unloaded the car, and unpacked a few things.  Today has been damp, but Bramble needed a walk so we picked a dry slot late afternoon.

Alongside the river there are many trees but only one apple tree. It was quite tall and always had hundreds of small apples on it, but it was inaccessible so none were ever picked by us. Sadly it has been blown down recently, and it will no longer entertain us with its inaccessible fruit.
