Rising Slowly.............

Folk have been agog – and if any weren’t they should have been – because we have found the shoe horn.  A party is being planned.  Completed a further application for the Friends of the Hoy Kirk for potential funding to improve energy use and sourcing.  Even fired it in to the potential funder.  Took myself off for a coastal walk when CMC was playing piano and, later, her accordion.  I invited my s-i-l for tea and made a bake and a salad.  CMC has contributed a coffee cake.  But not just any coffee cake – it’s a CMC special.  We were taken aback last night in the Stenness Hall.  What started as the ‘Stenness Fun Day’ culminated in a no bad dance.  Ten thousand and eighty six steps – and every one of them in the Hokey Cokey.
