Treasured...

...by my Nan who brought this Capodimonte figurine back from her travels in Italy, many many moons ago. And now treasured by me. 

Woken at 5.30am and couldn’t get back to sleep so came down early and found the first of the sun’s rays painting shadows on the wall. The rest of the day has disappeared in a whirlwind of chores and a visit from E from next door who popped round late morning in need of a listening ear and a Mince Pie, or two. Two hours later he left.

After the sunny start to the day, it’s been disappointingly overcast, we even had a quick shower. Tomorrow promises to be better. Fingers crossed for sunshine and a well-behaved patient so I can enjoy a belated birthday outing...
