Mermaid Street

We took C&H to Rye as they had not been before, and as Anglophiles, they loved its quirky nature. Photograph of us in Mermaid Street was obligatory. We climbed the church tower and looked round the shops, and then lunched in the George. We called in on A&S for tea on our way home.
In the evening we walked to the village and had a drink in the Brewers, followed by a curry. All very English….
