cruising

This would have been lovely today, but I wasn't that lucky. Went to Kendal this morning to buy a 'new toy'. More about that another day.

This afternoon I was meeting a friend and was 10 minutes early so spent a bit of time by Windermere. On Wednesday the Queen and Princess Anne visited the area and were out on the lake on the Teal (a much larger boat) but here are the two smaller ones which bear their names. In the foreground the Queen of the Lake which was in London last year for the river pageant and just setting off on a cruise is Princess of the Lake.
