Unfurl the Sails

What a splendid evening aboard the Lady Washington in Bellingham Bay! I had never sailed on a sailing vessel like this before. Now I have. The tickets for this sail were a birthday present from a cousin. What a present. I love sailing ships and all the lore associated with them. No matter what you know vicariously, being on a ship under sail is a thrill of its own. Beautiful evening, good wind and crew that knew how to sail. Or in some cases were learning.
