Out to lunch today…….

We went to meet a friend at Comptoir Libanais this morning to catch up and have lunch. And hopped on the Cross-City line to New Street Station, Birmingham.
I know Blipper Rainette likes it there so we decided to try it.
I loved the décor and the food!
We caught the train home for Stephen to be in time to see one of his friends up at our local shops for a coffee. That’s the beauty of only being c.25 minutes into the City Centre by rail.
A lovely mild sunny autumn day. So different from yesterday.
I had a much better sleep last night.
Dealing with the hip pain is trial and error. I have daily exercises to do to at least keep it fluid. But I think I may have overdone it towards the end of last week.
I didn’t do any yesterday and took paracetamol.
Walking today wasn’t too bad thankfully.
When we got home I had my French conversation group at 4:00pm sitting up in the loft room. One of the group is still on holiday, but it was an interesting session.
It’s now 7:00pm and we’ve not long finished our tea, having had a very filling lunch!

I wonder if the latest “Assassination Attempt” will cause a boost in the polls for the intended victim!
