I was struggling to come across anything blip worthy today, but luckily these two red admirals appeared when I was taking out the rubbish. Hardly a kaleidoscope of butterflies, I know, but they do seem to be making a late resurgence after a poor summer showing.
 I also almost trod on the grass snake (please see extra) but I think it had already shuffled off its mortal coil.
