Tree of Learning

On the 50th Anniversary of UK's Open University in Milton Keynes, several thousand alumni made donations towards a scholarship fund for carers. This tree has shields as leaves with each shield marking one donation with year of when a particular donor completed their study with the university and their name.

The Tree is on a wall in the university's library. What I visit the library the next time. I will focus on a few shields or leaves of the tree to give you an idea of the intricate metal work.
