Mama bison

Another spectacular day in the North West Territories! Went out to the Salt Plains which was beautiful..they stretch for as far as the eye can see and I loved the open feeling of it .. When you live in a valley and are always in the mountains, it's a treat to experience big skies and endless flat terrain. Had the pleasure of a natural foot massage where you walk through the ooey gooey clay mud then over the granular salt and it feels great! Wanted to post the plains but on the way back there was a herd of bison just off the road and out of 20 pictures, this one was the best as it was the only one without a branch or leaves in front of its face! They are just like Angus...always turn away at the sight of a camera! I'll try and do a folio later.
