Camping

With the forecast for the weekend being stunning, I decided to go up to Glencoe to do some hillwalking.
I left later that I would have wished - I needed to walk Django, pop in at a friend to pick up a map, pack etc... I was also in contact with Lucie who seemed to have developed an infection on her foot - both me and my friend Jane, who is a GP were urging her to phone 111 and get it sorted. She listened to Jane and eventually saw someone who gave her some antibiotics. I was reassured.
Once in Glencoe, I found that the campsite was fully booked and there was nowhere to camp near the Clachaig Inn where I was hoping to have food and a drink. However, it was possible to wild camp near the Kingshouse Hotel - I could eat there and use their loo. It wasn't a bad spot, but it was extremely midgy, so we spent most of the evening in the pub, and went back to the tent when it was really dark. My tent is minute and sharing it with Django is just about okay, but I am starting to think that a wee camper would be nice...
