For the 21st Consecutive Year

Came to Shimane Prefecture for the first time in my life. I had planned to travel with one of my friends, who contacted me on the previous day telling that she got a bad cold and that she couldn't come; so I went with my father instead. He's a big fan of railway and he especially enjoyed the train ride from Okayama to Yasugi, a city in Shimane, which we stopped at to visit a museum.

Adachi Museum of Art, the name of the museum, is known to have a great garden as well as the works by pioneers of Japanese painting. At a corner of the garden we found this, letting visitors know that the garden has been awarded Japan's best garden by an US journal of Japanese gardening for 21 consecutive years since 2003.
