Silly Saturday

This is a late post of my Saturday Blip Photo.

Bushtits are usually quiet, flighty, and hungry but this male seemed angry at the female.  She even looks afraid—bizarre behavior for these little birds. 

Ellie stayed until early afternoon. Her grandpa came over to watch the football rival game between the two Oregon Universities. Ellie was resting on the sofa by her two grandpas so I decided to take a nap...I needed it because I had trouble sleeping Friday night and Ellie got me up at 6:30AM today.

Tonight a high school friend came over for dinner. She still lives in the same small town in California where Bob and I met in high school but she was in Portland for a few days. It was fun visiting with her; she has an amazing memory for names and events so we got caught up on many of our classmates. Unfortunately, many have died, including her husband. Bitter-sweet memories.
