The falling leaves

This looks a bit more Autumnal than it is.  It has been very dry and the horse chestnuts loose their leaves very early.  It was a stunning day yesterday, we spent it tidying up the allotment and getting it ready for winter, over the next few weeks we will take out all the spent plants and put in a compost heap and have a bonfire with the rest.
